3 rulings from Wizards of the Coast
- 2 October 2025The token will have Phoenix Fleet Airship's abilities. It will also be able to create copies of itself on future turns.
- 2 October 2025The token won't copy counters or damage marked on Phoenix Fleet Airship, nor will it copy other effects that have changed Phoenix Fleet Airship's power, toughness, types, color, and so on. Normally, this means the token will simply be a Phoenix Fleet Airship, but if any copy effects have affected that Phoenix Fleet Airship, they're taken into account.
- 2 October 2025If Phoenix Fleet Airship leaves the battlefield before its triggered ability resolves, the token will still enter as a copy of Phoenix Fleet Airship, using its copiable values from when it was last on the battlefield.
