The MTG card scanner that keeps up with a stack
Point your phone at a card. It's recognised, priced and filed into your binder before you've reached for the next one. Free, with no ads and no scan limit.
Already have it? Pair your phone and your scans show up in the deck builder.
Made for piles, not single cards
Most scanners are fine for one card. The test is a shoebox.
Never a popup mid-scan
Every card goes straight into the queue. If the scanner isn't sure which printing it saw, the card gets a small orange mark and you answer it once, at the end, before the import. Your rhythm is never broken.
Printings, not just names
Same art in two sets? The set symbol and collector number are checked, and when two printings really can't be told apart the app asks instead of guessing. Sorting a box from one set? Flip “Everything here is one set” and it stops asking.
Foil, condition, language
Each copy carries its finish, condition and language. Foils wear a ribbon in the list so you can see them at a glance, and prices follow the finish.
Photos never leave your phone
Recognition happens on the device. Nothing you point the camera at is uploaded, and there is no advertising, analytics or tracking in the app. Read the privacy policy, it's short.
Prices that follow you
TCGplayer, Cardmarket and Card Kingdom prices on every card and every binder total, refreshed while you're online. Recognition itself works offline once the card data has downloaded.
One collection, phone and website
Pair the app with a free DeckForge account and the same binders appear on the deck builder, which then builds from cards you actually own and tells you exactly what's missing and what it costs.

Questions people ask
Is the scanner really free?
Yes. Scanning, your collection and prices cost nothing and there are no ads. DeckForge Plus is optional and mostly buys AI deck building and longer price history.
Does it work on foils?
Yes. The card is recognised by its artwork, and you set the finish with one tap, or once for a whole stack. Foils show a ribbon in your list and are priced as foils.
What about sleeved cards?
Sleeved cards scan; glare is the only enemy. Even light and matte sleeves work best. If a card is doubtful it's marked, never dropped, and you confirm it before import.
Which phones does it run on?
iPhone and iPad from the App Store, Android phones and tablets from Google Play. Your collection is the same on all of them and on the website.
Do I need an account?
Not to scan. A free DeckForge account is only needed to see the same collection on the website and on a second device. Pairing takes a six-character code, never a password on the phone.
Does it need an internet connection?
Only for the first card-data download and for fresh prices. Recognition runs on the phone, so a basement with no signal is fine.
Can I bring decks from Moxfield, Archidekt or ManaBox?
Yes. The deck builder imports a Moxfield or Archidekt list, a plain text file or a ManaBox CSV export, and accounts for every line.
